Early Candlestand, Cherry, Original Surface
(Item: CANDLESTAND)This is an early candlestand in a form I have never seen before. It is adjustable and has a key lock to hold the arm at the desired height. The base is a pyramid shaped block. The central pole is ovoid from shrinkage. The surface is the old red wash.
This well made candle stand has a very pleasing form. It is in original condition except that one of the pewter holders appears to have been replaced.
